2. Art and Science Exchange

   On Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th August 2019, the MA Art in Science programme at Liverpool School of Art and Design hosted an Art & Science Exchange workshop with members of the Biochemical Society. The exchange was held at the John Lennon Art and Design Building, in the Public Exhibition Space and X-Gallery amongst the MA Art in Science student's end of programme postgraduate exhibition, which showcases the outcomes of their three month research projects. These projects served as a basis for investigation of specific art-science interactions, and were supported by open discussions, hands on activities and a Liverpool LASER talk.

3. Honour Based Abuse, Female Genital Mutilation and Forced Marriage conference held in partnership with Savera UK 

   LJMU equality and diversity team worked in partnership with SaveraUK to host an inspiring HBA, FGM and FM event in November 2019.

4. Another ‘first’ for LJMU in Sport and Exercise Sciences

   Professor Zoe Knowles is set to become the first woman to chair the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).

5. Kasper Schmeichel talk marks 20 years of Science and Football at LJMU

   Leicester City and Danish international goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel visits students from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences.

6. Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair – 10 March, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend this fair to meet and network with 50+ employers offering internships, placements and graduate roles.

7. Support over the spring break and what to do in Liverpool

   For most of our students following the standard academic calendar, the spring break runs from 9 to 24 April. Whether you are heading home or staying around Liverpool, here is some advice on where to go, what to do if you need help and support and those all important Library opening times.

8. MA Art in Science students exhibit works at Glastonbury's first art-science exhibition

   Ten Liverpool School of Art and Design students and graduates showcased their work in the Green Futures Field at Glastonbury festival.

9. Future Fortnight: 28 February to 11 March – open to all students

   Join the Student Futures team for a series of events helping you think about your future goals. The sessions are friendly, open to students from any programme or year group and will help you gain clarity on your next steps.

10. Evie's design to make Liverpool streets safer

    A LJMU student is helping keep Liverpool safe with style after winning a coronavirus design competition.
