2. LJMU Marks National Inclusion Week (2020)

   National Inclusion Week runs from the 28th Sep - 4th Oct 2020 and gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to inclusion in and outside of the LJMU community.

3. LJMU Library launches new reading corner

   LJMU Library has developed a new children's reading corner, providing access to a collection of children's books. This new space provides a fun and relaxed reading area for use by students, staff, local teachers and school children.

4. Update: LJMU Induction Week and Freshers 2022

   Monday 19 September will be a Bank Holiday for all students

5. Liverpool John Moores University celebrates a week’s worth of Graduations

   Liverpool John Moores University is celebrating after a wonderful week of graduation ceremonies at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, in which more than 4,000 students graduated across 18 ceremonies, including 96 members of staff.

6. Hate Crime Awareness

   Hate Crime Awareness Week is an important time to remind ourselves what constitutes a hate crime and what support is available both on and off campus.

7. Open Research Week 2022

   Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool and Edge Hill University libraries are delighted to announce our programme for Open Research Week 2022, taking place from 14th-17th February 2022. There are 8 events over 4 days. All will take place over Microsoft Teams and each session can be booked individually. All events will be recorded; if you are unable to attend but are interested in the content, please sign up and the recording will be sent out to you in due course.

8. Over 15,000 LJMU students set to graduate this summer

   Liverpool Anglican Cathedral is set to play host to over 4,000 students next week for the first round of LJMU graduation ceremonies taking place this summer

9. Transgender Remembrance Day: Gender identity, trans-awareness and policing

   Our EDI team caught up with Christian Owens, founder of GenderSpace, to discuss gender identity, trans- awareness and policing for Transgender Day of Remembrance.

10. Making space for women to thrive in astrophysics

    More than 100 schoolgirls heard from LJMU astrophysicists during a special British Science Week event that celebrated the contribution of women in STEM.
