The LJMU Ethnically Diverse Staff Network is open to staff who identify as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, in the first instance.

Allies (people who support Race/Ethnicity-equality) are occasionally invited to attend meetings, when appropriate.

The University LJMU Together (LGBTIQ+) Staff Network support the strategic aim of being a University where each person is respected equally and where diversity is embraced. The group will meet regularly as a staff support network and assist the University with reviewing progress against the University’s LGBTIQ+ Equality Objectives and to share best practice.

The School has developed a Parent and Carer Network to raise awareness of the challenges faced by colleagues with caring responsibilities and also to provide general guidance for colleagues on how to manage (and/or how to support colleagues managing) caring responsibilities.

The LJMU Staff Disability Network is open to staff who identify as having a disability (physical, hidden, mental and long-term health conditions), in the first instance. Allies (people who support disability-equality) are occasionally invited to attend meetings, when appropriate.
