LJMU achieves its highest ever ranking in The Complete University Guide League Table
Liverpool John Moores University achieved its highest ever ranking in the TheCompleteUniversityGuide.co.uk 2019 league tables, published today (Wednesday 25 April 2018).
The University is now ranked 59th and has moved up 16 places.
LJMU also achieved a top five placing for Tourism and Events courses and top 20 for Engineering, Forensic Science, and Sport Science.
Additionally the report revealed that , as a whole, universities in the North West have the best Student-Staff Ratio of anywhere in the country as they have the fewest number of students for each member of staff.
The Main Table is based on ten measures: Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Entry Standards, Student: Staff Ratio; Spending on Academic Services; Spending on Student Facilities; Good Honours Degrees; Graduate Prospects and Completion. It includes 131 institutions (129 last year).
