Varsity 2023: LJMU vs UOL

The biggest student sporting event in the calendar has arrived. The age-old rivalry between Liverpool John Moores University and University of Liverpool takes place this month with a series of sporting events.  

When is Varsity 2023?

This year Varsity is across a full three days, from Sunday 12 – Tuesday 14 March 2023 and we’re encouraging all students and staff to get behind #TeamLJMU. 

With events from climbing to cricket, ultimate frisbee to football and table tennis to trampolining, there’s so many matches to support. The fixtures will be played across both campuses within LJMU’s Sports Building, UOL Sports Hall and other venues across Merseyside.
