Pride in Liverpool 2023

Liverpool Pride will takeover the city on Saturday 29 September

Students, staff and alumni from across LJMU will be joining the LCR Pride March on Saturday 29 July, taking to the streets of Liverpool to march in protest and in celebration.

Those from the LJMU community will meet at the Student Life Building from 10:30am, before heading to the muster point at St Georges Plateu and marching through the streets from 12pm, with LJMU branded Pride tshirts.

This year Liverpool will showcase Kyiv and Ukraine's LGBT+ spirit as the annual March with Pride is held jointly with Kyiv Pride. Taking place on 29th July, this continues Liverpool's Eurovision legacy and solidarity with Ukraine where it is currently illegal to stage marches due to the Russian invasion.

For the first time, Pride in Liverpool will showcase a ‘city full of pride’ with elements of the annual festival being spread across the whole city centre allowing pride-goers to experience the event in a totally unique way.
