There are many external organisations that support the wider Armed Forces Covenant that we at Liverpool John Moores University have links with, and other organisations locally and nationally that provide support for the Armed Forces community.

Here is a directory of links to organisations that might prove useful to our students, staff and stakeholders.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the military voluntary reserve or volunteering as a cadet instructor in the Merseyside region, detailed below are some website links for units and key organisations.

Many staff members and students at LJMU are involved in volunteering with their local cadet groups or are reservists alongside their work or studies.

Army Reserve

If you are interested in exploring the Army reserve, there are a number of units in the North West. You can use the Army’s find a reserve centre search to explore the different options available.
