Accommodation for exchange and study abroad students
Liverpool has a wide range of good-quality student accommodation. LJMU doesn't own any accommodation. Instead, we work with many trusted private providers.
Accommodation for the first semester of 2024/25
Students who need first semester accommodation can submit a request now. LJMU students studying abroad during the second semester of 2024/25 can also request a room.
Rooms are available for 16 weeks. The tenancy will run from Saturday 7 September to Friday 27 December 2024. It is not possible to extend beyond these dates.

Weekly rent and tenancy length: £105, 16 weeks
Total rent: £1680
Hall: Moorfield
Room Type: Bedroom in shared flat with en-suite bathroom. Premium rooms are slightly larger in room size
Weekly rent and tenancy length: Standard sold out / Premium sold out, 16 weeks
Total rent: Standard sold out / Premium sold out
We cannot extend the tenancy past the end of December. This is because these rooms are needed for students joining LJMU in the second semester.
If you have an in-person assessment in January, you should contact your International Mobility Coordinator. An alternative assessment may be possible. It would not require students to be in Liverpool. Please note, this is up to the concerned department.
