   Find out more about the first day of LJMU's 2017 Summer Graduation Ceremonies which kicked off at Liverpool Cathedral on Monday 10 July.

   Dr Emma Murray, Reader in Military Veteran Studies at LJMU and Criminologist-in-Residence at FACT has been a long-term collaborator on the project.

3. LJMU students share ideas with international delegates to work towards the United Nations Global Goals

   LJMU health and social care students joined international delegates at the Social and Solidarity Economy International Forum’s international conference in France.

4. Collaborating with the chemical and shipping industry for a technology-driven low carbon supply chain

   LJMU recently brought together representatives from the chemical and shipping industry to discuss innovative solutions to the sector’s supply chain.

5. Exciting development opportunity for women to undertake action learning with peers from North West universities

   We are pleased to offer this development opportunity for up to 15 women working in academic and professional services roles to take part in cross institutional action learning sets with peers from universities in the North West region. Action learning provides a unique space for women to support each other to overcome work and career related challenges. This opportunity has been taken up previously by 150 women. Participant feedback includes: it was not role specific, so there were a range of individuals with different roles/skills/perspective which enriched my experience and It provided a rare opportunity to discuss issues confidentially outside of ones own workplace which helped me to develop more self-confidence and self-awareness.

6. LJMU student hosts public engagement event at Tate Liverpool to break the stigma of homelessness

   Narratives of Homelessness will be running at Tate Exchange in Liverpool from Monday 5 March – Saturday 10 March from 12.00 – 3.30pm

7. Official launch of Oryx Universal College in partnership with LJMU in the State of Qatar

   We are delighted to announce the official launch of Oryx Universal College in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University in the State of Qatar.

8. Paid opportunities for LJMU students to be a part-time school tutor with The Tutor Trust

   Become a paid school tutor alongside your studies with The Tutor Trust and hear from an LJMU student who is currently working for the organisation.

9. Honour Based Abuse, Female Genital Mutilation and Forced Marriage conference held in partnership with Savera UK 

   LJMU equality and diversity team worked in partnership with SaveraUK to host an inspiring HBA, FGM and FM event in November 2019.
