1. Arts and Humanities Research Council awards LJMU £250,000

   LJMU researchers are to help regenerate post-industrial sites of China after successfully bidding for £250,000 funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

2. New ES1 form available for managers

   The Finance team has recently updated the ES1 form used to assess contractors against HMRCs off-payroll working rules (sometimes called IR35).

8. LJMU community takes to the streets for Liverpool Pride 2023

   Over 130 students, staff and alumni joined the Liverpool City Region Pride March at the weekend.

9. School of Biological & Environmental Sciences accredited with Athena SWAN Bronze Award

   Biological and Environmental Sciences has become the fifth LJMU school to have received the Athena SWAN Bronze Award.

10. Alpine F1 performance coach and jet lag doctoral researcher visits LJMU ahead of new Formula 1 season

    Sport and Exercise Science Professional Doctorate student, Tom Clark, visited LJMU last week in preparation for the start of the new Formula 1 season and to discuss his jet lag research. Tom has spent the past four years working with the Alpine F1 team and specifically their driver Esteban Ocon.
