4. LJMU pledges to secure successful student futures at House of Commons

   22 universities, including Liverpool John Moores University and JMSU have pledged to develop a Student Futures Manifesto joint action between a university and its students to improve the student experience.

5. Sport science students make an impact with nearly 15,000 hours of placements

   From community sports clubs that support people with special educational needs to premier league football clubs, 173 students have undertaken 14,730 hours of work-based placements this academic year.

6. MA Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice student gives their advice for kick starting a new business

   Rena, 39 began studying at LJMU in 2020 and decided to transform a café into counselling rooms during her second year of study.

7. Christine Eyene joins LJMU and jury of Turner Prize 2022

   The Liverpool School of Art and Design has welcomed a new lecturer to its ranks, art critic, historian, and curator Christine Eyene. As well as taking up a new post here at LJMU, she will also play an important role in deciding the winner of one of the best-known prizes for visual art, the Turner Prize 2022, as she has been selected to sit on this years jury.

8. Sports and Exercise Science student coaches at Strongest Woman Competition

   Student Laura Dye, 32, has coached Rebecca Roberts to victory as placed second at the Arnold Strongwoman Competition in Ohio, USA.

10. Student Led European Youth Parliament Regional Debating Event

    A European Youth Parliament (EYP) regional debating event was hosted on campus on Wednesday 28 February, organised by LJMU students Rachael Carroll and Zoe Woodward.
