   Civil engineers who developed a new type of cement which creates 80% fewer carbon emissions have won a prestigious international prize.

7. Pandemics and public health: have we found our new normal? - Conan Leavey and Graeme Mitchell, Public Health Institute, LJMU

   IT Services Technology Support staff will be on hand this September to offer informal guidance on the operation and use of in-class technologies such as projectors, visualisers, and front of class computers.

9. LJMU partnering in major police fatigue study

   The National Police Wellbeing Service has been awarded funding to conduct a study of their sleep fatigue and recovery biometrics programme in partnership with LJMU.

10. LJMU reveals digital image bringing people face to face with Seventeenth Century Scottish soldier

    LJMU’s Face Lab has unveiled a digital reconstruction of the face of a Seventeenth century Scottish Soldier whose body was discovered at a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.
