5. Happy Lunar New Year to our LJMU community across the world

   LJMU is wishing all our students, staff and partners in 30 institutions across the globe a happy Lunar New Year to all those celebrating.

6. Give out Wellbeing Journals to all your students in your Personal Tutor meetings

   Copies of the new 2022-23 Wellbeing Journal are now available for all students, and academic staff are being encouraged to hand them out at their first personal tutor meetings with students.

7. Making Every Contact Count staff training: September to December

   Book onto the mental health and wellbeing training now.

8. New workplace milk initiative

   Staff can now order milk through Catering Services for their team to collect once a week.

9. Menopause cafes throughout 2024

   This year we will once again host four menopause cafes for our staff, with the first taking place on Tuesday 16 January, and anyone wishing to attend can book via the staff wellbeing events page.

10. New service connecting LJMU’s student talent to Merseyside business gets underway

    As a major development towards LJMU’s goal of more readily matching student and graduate talent to the needs of Merseyside businesses, we have entered into an agreement with Unitemps to establish a specialist recruitment service for the region.
