1. VC PhD Studentship Awards and Thematic Doctoral Programme Awards 2023/24

   LJMU has awarded 21 VC PhD Studentship awards to exceptional students at the university.

2. Update: P60s now available on Staff Infobase

   P60s for the tax year 2021-22 (ending 5 April 2022) are now available on Staff InfoBase

3. Improvement works at John Foster Building

   Next month (June 2022), we will begin a programme of improvement works to John Foster Building, which means it will be closed for a period over the summer.

4. New and improved LJMU Policy Centre

   The new policy centre has launched.

5. LJMU appoints new Finance Director

   Rob Molloy has been appointed as the university’s new Finance Director.

6. Student finance reminder

   If you are an undergraduate student and are continuing on your course in September 2019, don’t forget to reapply for your student finance as soon as possible.

7. MyLJMU app now available

   We have launched a brand new app version of MyLJMU.

8. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

9. LJMU to host major global astronomy and space science event

   LJMU has won its bid to host the European Week of Astronomy and Space Science (EWASS) in 2018.

10. 'Most Inspirational Student Nurse of the Year' awarded to LJMU's John Wells

    Third year Adult Nursing student, John Wells, has picked up the ‘Most Inspirational Student Nurse of the Year’ award at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2023.
