1. Curriculum Management system taking shape

   Work is well under way on a major project to develop a new curriculum management system for LJMU.

2. LJMU joins Higher Education, Transnational Education (TNE) mission to Vietnam and Cambodia

   During the mission, LJMU were able to showcase their University offerings, meet with the UK Ambassador to Vietnam, Gareth Ward, and hold business to business meetings to ignite discussions surrounding the development of transnational education opportunities.

3. LJMU collaborates with Liverpool Law Society

   LJMU Law students are being offered career and networking opportunities from Liverpool Law Society (the society that represents all lawyers from the Liverpool City Region) due to a new collaboration between the two organisations.

4. Pride in Liverpool 2023

   Students, staff and alumni from across LJMU will be joining the LCR Pride March on Saturday 29 July, taking to the streets of Liverpool to march in protest and in celebration.

   If you are an undergraduate student and are continuing on your course in September 2019, don’t forget to reapply for your student finance as soon as possible.

   Mersey Maritime is widely recognised as the UK’s leading maritime cluster organisation bringing together industry, government, national trade bodies and academia to champion, grow and protect the UK maritime industry particularly in the North-West.

9. Start-up funding opportunity for new student businesses

   The LJMU Start-up Hub is excited to announce that the new Bathgate Boost award is now open! The £500 award is designed to support students who can demonstrate their business idea. Sitting alongside this funding is a package of support from the Start-up Hub team built around developing your start-up and skills as an entrepreneur. The award is open to all current LJMU students and new alumni who graduated from LJMU during 2023.

10. New Professors and Readers

    LJMU has promoted five new professors and 34 new readers.
