1. Academic Staff Governor voting now open

   All Academic staff have until 5pm on Monday 19 June to vote for their preferred Academic Staff Governor candidate.

2. Sir Brian officially opens Student Life Building

   Our Chancellor, Sir Brian Leveson, has unveiled a plaque to officially open our fantastic Student Life Building.

3. LJMU 2nd in Uni Compare Top 100 University Rankings

   LJMU has risen two places in the overall rankings and is placed in the top 10 for its accommodation, course quality, employability and student life.

4. Technicians survey 2024 to remain open for a further fortnight

   The National Technician Development Centre (NTDC) Technicians Survey at LJMU is open for responses for a further two weeks until Friday 5 April.

5. Academic Board election voting now open

   Staff have until 5pm on Thursday 14 September to vote for their preferred Academic Board candidates.

7. MA Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice student gives their advice for kick starting a new business

   Rena, 39 began studying at LJMU in 2020 and decided to transform a café into counselling rooms during her second year of study.

8. Future Fortnight: 28 February to 11 March – open to all students

   Join the Student Futures team for a series of events helping you think about your future goals. The sessions are friendly, open to students from any programme or year group and will help you gain clarity on your next steps.

9. MA Screen School Alumni celebrates feature film on Amazon Prime

   J1S, a feature film by LJMU MA Screenwriting graduate, Jay Cunningham, 44, has been released on Amazon Prime.
