1. Scholarships for people of colour on policing course

   Opportunities for people of colour in specialist policing roles including counter-terrorism are being made available thanks to a partnership involving Liverpool John Moores University.

2. Bibliotherapy sessions for your wellbeing

   As part of Feel Fab Feb and throughout the year, Student Advice and Wellbeing is hosting Bibliotherapy events with Reading for Wellbeing and Writing for Wellbeing sessions.

3. Come along to the 'Reverse Big Ideas' event on Policing, Criminalisation and Community

   Staff, students and the public are invited to the LJMU Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies' latest ‘Reverse Big Ideas’ event.

4. LJMU Climate Research Institute

   Staff are invited to attend a second workshop focussed on the proposed LJMU Climate Research Institute. It follows the successful design sprint session held in December, in which colleagues with research interests in the area met to begin scoping out the planned institute.

   We have launched a brand new app version of MyLJMU.

6. Computer Science Christmas Social Event 2018

   LJMU Computer Science students attended the Department’s second annual Christmas Social Event on 12th December 2018

7. New Export Controls and Sanctions Policy

   A new Export Controls and Sanctions Policy, in relation to research and knowledge exchange activity, has been approved and added to the LJMU Policy Centre.

8. Supporting those facing domestic abuse

   LJMU is backing a campaign to support people facing gender-based violence.

9. Professorship and Readership Conferment 2022: Call for submissions

   Each year applications are invited for the conferment of Professorships and Readerships and the process for 2022 is now open.

10. Improvement works at John Foster Building

    Next month (June 2022), we will begin a programme of improvement works to John Foster Building, which means it will be closed for a period over the summer.
