1. LJMU Staff Networks move to Teams

   From this month the process to join a staff network has moved to the LJMU website and Microsoft Teams, making it even easier to join one of LJMU’s staff networks

2. Staff Qualifications and Health and Safety policy updates

   A number of LJMU staff policies have been updated.

3. Academic Board Elections - Teaching Staff

   Elections for the Academic Board teaching staff will take place from 24th May until 11th June 2019.

4. Actions update from Staff Survey 2024

   Over the past six months, members of the Executive Leadership Team and the Directorate have actively engaged with their teams, holding discussions and developing action plans in response to the findings of the 2024 Staff Survey.

5. Academic Staff Governor voting now open

   All Academic staff have until 5pm on Monday 19 June to vote for their preferred Academic Staff Governor candidate.

6. Academic Staff Governor Elections

   Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.

7. Professional Services Staff Governor Elections

   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

8. Staff dental plan

   An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.

9. Staff celebrated at awards evening

   More than 250 LJMU staff were recognised for their outstanding contributions to the university and wider community.

10. Staff Governor voting now open

    All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.
