6. Celebrating success at LJMU's Unitemps Awards 2024

   Students, staff, and local businesses from across LJMU were celebrated at the Unitemps Awards Ceremony held on Wednesday 8 May 2024. The event, hosted at the Student Life Building, honoured individuals for their contributions to work opportunities and collaboration with Unitemps.

7. Support for transgender and non-binary students

   We now have dedicated information on our student support webpages, for transgender and non-binary students, to find out how to get help and support while at university, as well as requesting a name change via LJMU.

8. LJMU leads partnership with technology hub to support and innovate region’s businesses

   LJMU received a £2m government grant to help SMEs, and has used the funding to partner with the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) to help transform regional industry through the use of a new Business Launch Centre (MTC@LJMU) based at LJMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

   Nominations are now invited for individuals and organisations to be considered for Honorary Fellowships and Awards.

10. Educate North Awards 2017 nominations

    LJMU has been shortlisted for University of the Year plus several other categories in this year’s Educate North Awards.
