Our third-year journalism student, Chloe Doolan, sat down with LJMU Money Advisor, Viven Hart to ask those all important financial questions on her mind, including what a credit score is, and how to improve it.
The university is introducing several new financial wellbeing measures to support staff during this challenging financial period.
Local SMEs and entrepreneurs in the region will be at the forefront of creating a new generation of Internet of Things (IoT) enabled services and applications as Sensor City has been selected as one of six partners to drive a new initiative to boost the range of products and services that will transform the UK’s digital economy.
Business as usual for teaching and research
Students, staff, and local businesses from across LJMU were celebrated at the Unitemps Awards Ceremony held on Wednesday 8 May 2024. The event, hosted at the Student Life Building, honoured individuals for their contributions to work opportunities and collaboration with Unitemps.
We now have dedicated information on our student support webpages, for transgender and non-binary students, to find out how to get help and support while at university, as well as requesting a name change via LJMU.
LJMU received a £2m government grant to help SMEs, and has used the funding to partner with the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) to help transform regional industry through the use of a new Business Launch Centre (MTC@LJMU) based at LJMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Nominations are now invited for individuals and organisations to be considered for Honorary Fellowships and Awards.
LJMU has been shortlisted for University of the Year plus several other categories in this year’s Educate North Awards.
