LJMU’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences recently welcomed former PhD student Dr Niels Feddersen on to campus for a research and knowledge exchange visit.
The year 9 pupils from Liverpool's Holly Lodge Girls College spent two days working alongside world-class scientists in physiology, biomechanics and sport and exercise psychology, as well as current LJMU students, to gain expert insight into sport science research methodology.
The launch of the programme, yesterday evening at Liverpool John Moores University, saw the 26 leaders finding out who they had been paired with.
