1. 115 international upGrad students celebrated at LJMU

   115 students from India, Canada and Lebanon have been on campus this week as part of a three-day immersion week of celebrations with Liverpool Business School.

2. International students studying with upGrad celebrated in Liverpool

   Students from India, Jordan, Vietnam, Iran, Singapore and Norway took part in a three-day visit to LJMU.

3. Student Information System Upgrade

   The University’s Student Information System (SIS) is being upgraded. SIS will be unavailable during the upgrade, from 5pm on Thursday 21st November until 8am on Tuesday 26th November.

4. IT upgrades coming your way

   During the summer, IT services will be delivering an upgrade to Microsoft Office and Google Chrome will become the default browser.

5. EndNote software upgrade

   This summer EndNote Desktop software is being upgraded from EndNote X9 to EndNote 20.

6. Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded

   Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded over the Easter weekend. The upgraded system will be available by 8am on Tuesday 6th April. The upgrade will move the system to the latest version of the software, ensuring that it remains up-to-date and continues to effectively support the University's business.

7. Update to IT services: IT disruption expected Saturday 24 August

   As part of LJMU security upgrades, key platforms including Canvas, Staff Infobase and parts of the LJMU website will be unavailable on 24 August.

8. Grad Academy for 2022 grads and current final year students

   From 2 to 11 May join the Grad Academy events and get support from the Student Futures team in the lead up to graduation and beyond on your journey to your next career destination!

9. Grad Fest 2019 – event for final year students on 3 April

   Grad Fest 2019 is a new event for final year students at LJMU, taking place on 3 April from 2pm-7pm at the John Lennon Art and Design Building.

10. New student registration and ID card photo upload

    Don't forget to complete your online student registration and add a photo for your student ID card.
