   A European Youth Parliament (EYP) regional debating event was hosted on campus on Wednesday 28 February, organised by LJMU students Rachael Carroll and Zoe Woodward.

   A series of support and information sessions will be available to LJMU staff over the coming weeks to find out more about pensions and financial planning.

6. Journalism programmes receive NCTJ award for equality, diversity and inclusion

   The award recognises LJMU’s work on diversity and inclusion including the creation of a Diversity Reporting Guide and a planned Diversity in Journalism Teaching symposium.

   Academics, professional service staff and students travelled to Belfast for a recent university applicant day.

8. LJMU awarded HEFCE funding to raise awareness of zero tolerance approach to harassment

   The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) has awarded Kerry Wilson, Head of Research at the Institute of Cultural Capital, a mid-career Leadership Fellowship

    LJMU health and social care students joined international delegates at the Social and Solidarity Economy International Forum’s international conference in France.
