1. New and improved LJMU Policy Centre

   The new policy centre has launched.

2. New student complaints and appeals forms

   Student Complaints Forms and Appeals Forms are now available on the My LJMU Portal.

3. LJMU and JMSU launch Respect Always

   Today marks the launch of Respect, Always!, a collaboration between LJMU and JMSU which aims to get to the heart of what ‘respect’ means to us all as individuals and to collectively recognise this across the university.

4. New performance review and development system

   Following a successful pilot scheme, from next week all staff will be able to access a brand new system to take ownership of their development and objective.

5. LJMU and LFC Foundation extend partnership

   Liverpool John Moores University and LFC Foundation are broadening their successful partnership to create new research, employment and volunteering opportunities for students.

6. Honorary Fellowship: Dr John Cater CBE

   Liverpool John Moores University awards Honorary Fellowship to Dr John Cater at Liverpool Cathedral on Monday 11 July 2016.

7. Apprenticeships and Student Governance policy updates

   The new Apprenticeships Policy has received Academic Board approval and 20 Student Governance policies, guidance and pro forma have recently been reviewed, and have received minor amendments.

8. Staff leadership course: apply for CPD accredited Calibre Programme

   Open to staff who identify as neurodiverse, deaf or disabled, or who have a long-term physical or mental health condition

9. Roscoe Lecture – John Everard, former British diplomat on life in North Korea

10. Aldham Robarts Library to remain closed on Sundays until end of 2023

    Staff and students can access alternate library services at the Student Life Building or visit the Avril Robarts Library on Sundays.
