  1. Knitting together different generations

    A special handmade LFC inspired banner was unveiled at the Museum of Liverpool, which has been created by local children and older persons from the areas surrounding Anfield Stadium, as part of an LJMU intergenerational project – the Sustainable Skills Café.

  2. Women in STEM lecture series: Chi Onwurah MP

    In 1984, there were 14 per cent of female graduates in engineering and technology courses. In 2015, there was still only 14 per cent of female graduates in engineering courses. This sad statistic formed the basis of an impactful lecture by Chi Onwurah MP about the gender imbalance in Science, Technology, Engineering and Technology (STEM) subjects and subsequent careers.

  3. LJMU welcomes Accelerator City status

    LJMU’s new climate and sustainability research institute has welcomed the announcement that Liverpool has become the world’s first ‘Accelerator City’ for climate action.
