   LJMU has been given a Best Partnership Working Award by Liverpool City Council for the university’s ‘Intern to Work’ project.

2. Start-up funding opportunity for new student businesses

   The LJMU Start-up Hub is excited to announce that the new Bathgate Boost award is now open! The £500 award is designed to support students who can demonstrate their business idea. Sitting alongside this funding is a package of support from the Start-up Hub team built around developing your start-up and skills as an entrepreneur. The award is open to all current LJMU students and new alumni who graduated from LJMU during 2023.

4. Update to IT services: IT disruption expected Saturday 24 August

    Second year international tourism management students were given a tour of Liverpool John Lennon Airport earlier this month to gain insight into the operational and strategic challenges of managing one of the fastest growing airports in Europe.
