Do you prefer to study out of hours? Is there a pressing lab report that you need access to? No problem! LJMU is providing students with 24/7 access to IT services off campus. That means you can access Office 365 from your own device and download other software onto your own laptop/computer as well as accessing lab computers.
A reminder that UKRI has recently announced their guidance and requirements with regards to publishing open access monographs, which come into place from 1 January 2024.
If you get or buy a new phone for Christmas or over the winter break, you’ll need to register your new device so that you still access your LJMU account.
The open access policy applies to monographs, book chapters and edited collections associated with UKRI funding published from 1 January 2024.
Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool and Edge Hill University libraries are delighted to announce our programme for Open Research Week 2022, taking place from 14th-17th February 2022. There are 8 events over 4 days. All will take place over Microsoft Teams and each session can be booked individually. Local school children have visited University College London (UCL) as part of an LJMU widening access programme. Access All Areas is an initiative from LJMU’s Outreach team which arranged the first university exchange for year 11 pupils.
