2. LJMU staff graduate from Calibre Leadership Programme

   Seven LJMU staff members celebrated their graduation from the Calibre Leadership Programme yesterday, a key initiative designed to empower disabled staff through transformative leadership development.

3. Graduate Tutor Trainees join Positive Action Programme

   Six Graduate Tutor Trainees have begun a four-year programme at LJMU to gain invaluable teaching experience and strengthen the university's representation of Ethnically Diverse staff.

4. VC PhD Studentship Awards and Thematic Doctoral Programme Awards 2023/24

   LJMU has awarded 21 VC PhD Studentship awards to exceptional students at the university.

5. LJMU launches Sponsorship Programme for Ethnically Diverse Staff

   The Diverse Futures: LJMU Sponsorship Programme is designed to pair ethnically diverse staff with senior leaders and managers.

6. Reciprocal Mentoring Programme involving BAME Staff, Black Students and Senior Leaders

   Given the success of last year's pilot, we are running the LJMU Reciprocal Mentoring Programme again and we are extending it to include BAME staff from across the institution. The programme is open to all LJMU Senior Staff from Director Level of non BAME Background and to BAME staff from non-Director Level and to Black Students from all Faculties.

7. Advance HE Aurora Programme final days to apply

   LJMU staff are reminded that the application deadline for the Advance HE Aurora Programme, a leadership development initiative for women, is Friday 4 November 2022.

8. Representatives wanted for programme review

   LJMU is looking to recruit chair and university panel representatives for the validation and periodic programme review 2024-25.

9. Inclusive Allyship Programme (In Association With The Challenging Racism Webinar Series)

   Following the Challenging Racism Collaborative Campaign (webinar series), the University of Kent, Liverpool John Moores University and City, University of London are working with Inclusive Employers to deliver a virtual, Inclusive Allyship Programme.

10. Applications now open for Advance HE Aurora Programme 2024

    Applications are now being taken for a leadership development initiative for women.
