1. Professorship and readership conferment process

   To provide as much planning time as possible we can confirm that the LJMU professorship and readership conferment process for 2023/24 will open from 27 November 2023.

2. Multi Factor Authentication, MFA LJMU, Multi Factor Authentication LJMU, extra online security LJMU, accessing canvas off campus, accessing ljmu services, problems logging on to LJMU services

   From next week, LJMU will be implementing Multi Factor Authentication. You won't be able to access LJMU services without it. Follow these simple steps to register.

3. Liverpool School of Art and Design will host its first art-science showcase after being awarded prestigious Leonardo LASER status

   The first LASER session will focus on the theme of faces and identity with presentations on facial skin growth, forensic art and cosmetic surgery.

4. Major new joint research project will focus on mental health of jockeys and staff in the horse racing industry

   LJMU, Racing Welfare and the BHA will be carrying out a major new piece of research into the provision of mental health services across horse racing.

   Each year applications are invited for the conferment of Professorships and Readerships and the process for 2020 is now open.

    1981 was designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Disabled People and since then, 3rd December has been marked as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The day aims to promote a better understanding of disability issues with a focus on the rights of disabled people and the gains derived from their integration into every aspect of the political, social, economic and cultural life of our communities.
