   From 2 to 11 May join the Grad Academy events and get support from the Student Futures team in the lead up to graduation and beyond on your journey to your next career destination!

2. Sport and Exercise Science education adds £3.9 billion income to the UK economy

   Results of a new report show that Sport and Exercise Science courses added £3.9 billion in income to the UK economy, with average salaries for SES graduates after six months of employment at £21,100 per annum. Over the course of their careers, SES graduates earn on average £667,000 more compared to their non-graduate peers.

3. Student finance reminder

   If you are an undergraduate student and are continuing on your course in September 2019, don’t forget to reapply for your student finance as soon as possible.

4. Pensions and financial planning support for staff

   A series of support and information sessions will be available to LJMU staff over the coming weeks to find out more about pensions and financial planning.

5. LJMU awarded HEFCE funding to raise awareness of zero tolerance approach to harassment

   Read more about the funding LJMU has been awarded as part of a sector-wide drive to embed a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of harassment on campus.

6. Masters in Art and Design Degree Show: Class of 2020 show their enterprise

   Around 40 students will exhibit their ideas from MA courses in Fine Art, Graphic Art and Illustration, Art in Science, Fashion Innovation and Realisation and Exhibition Studies.
