1. Recruitment Officer Oliver to stage production at Shakespeare North Playhouse

   LJMU staff member Oliver Back is delighted to share that his latest production is set to be staged at the Shakespeare North Playhouse.

2. New way to request visitor parking and out of hours or security access

   Campus Support (Security) now has a number of staff request forms available via the LJMU HelpMe portal, to help with the management of requests.

3. Come and cheer on Team LJMU at the 2024 Lord Mayor's Dragon Boat Race

   LJMU are the main sponsor of this years’ event and three staff teams will compete on Sunday 12 May.

4. Designs for inclusion: enhancing doctoral education programme

   Staff can sign-up for the programme delivered across two afternoons, 1pm to 4.30pm on Thursday 9 November and Wednesday 22 November.

6. Apprenticeships and Student Governance policy updates

   The new Apprenticeships Policy has received Academic Board approval and 20 Student Governance policies, guidance and pro forma have recently been reviewed, and have received minor amendments.

7. Expressions of interest welcomed for Academic Board vacancies

   There are five vacancies available and eligible staff should send an expression of interest for the role to the Secretariat.

8. Audit and Risk Policy update

   The Engagement of External Auditors for Non-Audit Work Policy has been revised.

9. LJMU joins action group spearheading positive change for technical career pathways

   Two LJMU staff members will sit on the Career Pathways Action Group.

10. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

    Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.
