  1. APIS, collation of data, statutory returns

    Academic Planning and Information Services are responsible for the collation of data and the production of timely, valid and accurate student number related statutory returns required by government agencies.

  2. Continuous monitoring and enhancement

    Continuous Monitoring and Enhancement (CME) is a prospective process for monitoring and reviewing the University’s taught undergraduate and postgraduate provision to ensure alignment with external and internal threshold standards, as well as for regularly reviewing programmes to see how they can be developed further to enhance the student experience.

  3. Staff Disability Network

    The LJMU Staff Disability Network is open to staff whom identify as having a disability (physical, hidden, mental and long-term health conditions), in the first instance.

  4. Visible Bodies Software

    The Faculty now has access to the impressive looking Visible Bodies Anatomy and Physiology software.

  5. IT Services team

    Peter Ashton is the Chief Information Officer of LJMU's IT Services Department.

  6. Expenses Policy and Procedure

    On occasions, staff incur expenses, most often in relation to travel, and they are entitled to reimbursement. The University will reimburse actual and reasonable business related expenditure in accordance with the maximum rates specified within the Inland Revenue dispensation.

    Academic Planning & Information is responsible for the university’s student related reporting across the institution generated from the one true source of such data, the student information system (currently SIS).
