1. Sport scientist preparing jockeys for the Grand National

   LJMU's School of Sport and Exercise Science plays a vital role in preparing jockeys for what is the most famous horse race in the world the Randox Grand National.

6. Last Coffee and Connections of 2019

   Friday 6th December will be the last Coffee and Connections of 2019 and will take place from 11am at Redmonds Building. Everyone is invited.

8. Showcasing our new curriculum management system

   Academic staff and other colleagues are invited to attend demonstration sessions showcasing LJMUs new curriculum management system.

9. Mind the GaP!

   Time is rapidly running out for Principal Investigators to be trained on the new Grants and Projects (GaP) system. It has been agreed by the University that any bids for external funding (research and enterprise activity) from April 2020 will need to be set up by the Principal Investigator on the GaP system, so its important that you book onto training ASAP.

10. LJMU donates microscopes for African youngsters

    A project is underway to ship LJMU microscopes to Africa.
