5. Chief Constable delivers Spring Lecture at LJMU

   Chief Constable Craig Guildford of West Midlands Police delivered his spring lecture at LJMU last week. The lecture titled Turning the Tanker: Reflections on 18 Months as Chief Constable of West Midlands Police was held in the Redmonds Building and saw Chief Constable Guildford share his strategic initiatives, and thoughts on the importance of community engagement, and the future direction of the force.

6. Medallist returns from European Championships to graduate

   Sport Business student Rio Boothe has returned from the European Para Laser Run Championships to graduate in BA Sport Business.

7. Exhibition offers a backstage pass on the promotion of live rock and metal performances

   The first-of-its-kind exhibition has been curated by LJMU scholar Dr Nedim Hassan.

8. Chancellor Nisha Katona's 'afternoon with Claire House Children's Hospice'

   Claire House is one of LJMU’s corporate charity partners. Chancellor Nisha Katona attended “an afternoon with Claire House” to raise the profile of the amazing work the charity is doing for terminally ill children in Merseyside.
