   Monday 25th - Friday 29th November is Estranged Students Solidarity Week, a national campaign to raise awareness of the issues affecting students who are studying in higher education without the support of a family network.

3. International Scholarships awarded to 16 students

   16 students were presented with their international scholarships this week at a reception in the Student Life Building.

4. Policing students become 'nighttime guardians' for safer streets in Merseyside

   The development of the ‘guardian project’ will see LJMU student volunteers be trained alongside street pastors to provide support, to those who need it, in Liverpool’s night-time economy, such as helping people get home or providing emotional support.

5. Unitemps LJMU named 'Branch of the Year'

   LJMU’s on campus recruitment agency, Unitemps, has won ‘Branch of the Year’ at the Unitemps Annual Awards 2024.
