1. LJMU strengthens its commitment to the Armed Forces community

   A cross-university Steering Group has been created and an Armed Forces Champion appointed, to support students, staff and the wider community who have a connection to the Armed Forces.

2. Honorary Fellowships and Corporate Awards

   Nominations are now invited for individuals and organisations to be considered for Honorary Fellowships and Awards.

   To better understand how much we all know about data protection matters, a short staff survey has been put together.

4. LJMU Religion & Belief Workshops “Understanding religious diversity of our students and staff community”

   LJMUs Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team, are proud to be working in partnership with Zia Chaudhry (Director of LJMU Foundation for Citizenship), Zane Abdo (LJMU Muslim Adviser/Chaplin), Rabbi Natan Fagleman (LJMU Jewish Chaplain), Hannah Padfield (LJMU Anglican Chaplain), Father Neil Ritchie (LJMU Catholic Chapain) and other external consultants in order to offer LJMU Staff (& Students*), the opportunity to participate in a bespoke, half day Religion & Belief workshop.

5. New project uses theatre to explore Black health and justice

   An LJMU academic is leading a major project to explore themes of reproductive health and justice in Black communities.

   What do you think LJMU’s priorities should be around sustainability and climate change?

7. LJMU rated highly in Teaching Excellence Framework

   LJMU has been awarded a gold rating for student outcomes and silver overall in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

8. Celebrating Cultures Event 2022

   All staff and students are invited to LJMU's Celebrating Cultures Event on Wednesday 15 June as part of the Students at the Heart Conference.
