6. UKRI open access policy changes from 1 January 2024

   The open access policy applies to monographs, book chapters and edited collections associated with UKRI funding published from 1 January 2024.

   Professor the Lord David Alton returned to St George’s Hall with hundreds of guests from across Liverpool and the LJMU community to reflect on the Roscoe Lecture Series.

8. Shakespeare in a nutshell

   Shakespeare; creative genius, wordsmith and innovator, was also a man of the people. His influence on the English language has stood the test of time, and lines such as ‘in a nutshell,’ ‘mum's the word,’ ‘eaten out of house and home,’ ‘all's well that ends well" and ‘a wild goose chase’ are just some of those in common, everyday usage.

10. LJMU Sport Science ranked 15th in the world

    Sport and Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moores University is in the top 15 in the world in a new global ranking.
