   The ten students and now LJMU graduates, visited Nepal for a month-long Turing funded trip, working on the Dignity Without Danger (DWD) research project.

6. Civil Engineering student nominated for Undergraduate Award

   Ria Mistry, a second year Civil Engineering student at LJMU, beat off tough competition to make the shortlist out of almost 4,000 undergraduate students.

7. New student registration and ID card photo upload

   Don't forget to complete your online student registration and add a photo for your student ID card.

8. LJMU receives Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence and National Teaching Fellowship

   LJMU is one of 15 teams to win the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) and an LJMU academic has also been awarded one of 54 National Teaching Fellows (NTF). Dr Philip Denton, Principal Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, is the recipient of the NTF and the paramedic team at LJMU’s Schools of Nursing and Allied Health received the CATE.

9. Applications for Discovery Internships for level 5 and 6 students now open

   The final round of paid Discovery Internships for this academic year, which are all sustainability themed, are open for applications now from second and final year (level 5 and 6) students.
