1. Cook Together: Two more free lunches this February

   As part of LJMU’s support with the rising cost of living, LJMU is offering free lunches every Friday throughout February as part of our Cook Together initiative.

3. Eurovision volunteers needed

   The volunteering programme has officially opened, giving people the chance to be at the heart of this iconic event taking place in Liverpool in May.

4. Free winter flu jabs for staff

   As part of our commitment to employee wellbeing, we are again offering staff vouchers for a free winter flu jab.

5. Deadline for home computing loan scheme

   Our current Home Computing Loan scheme for staff will come to a close in December, ahead of the launch of a brand new scheme in the new year.

6. Upcoming Professorial Inaugural Lecture Series

   The next series begins in November 2022 with Professor Trung Thanh Nguyen from LJMU’s School of Engineering.

7. Foodbanks and schools benefit from LJMU PC donations

   Local foodbanks and schools are among the organisations benefiting from recycled computer equipment donated by Liverpool John Moores University.

8. New Associate Deans for Diversity and Inclusion appointed

   LJMU has appointed six Associate Deans for Diversity and Inclusion (ADDI), representing each of the five faculties and professional services, to support the university in driving forward the diversity and inclusion agenda.

9. Coffee and Connections Welcomes the Defence and Security Accelerator

   Coffee and Connections events are part of The Engagement Network (TEN) an initiative designed to connect people and opportunities, to foster innovation and enhance engagement with partners and colleagues.

10. FactLab role in Lever Prize 2016

    The prestigious Lever Prize 2016 has been won by the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) for a joint project with FACT, involving FACTLab, a collaboration between FACT and LJMU, which explores the interaction between arts and science.
