   LJMU's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team are proud to be working in partnership with a number of subject specialists, to deliver a range of interactive (online) staff development training opportunities, including the introduction of two brand new courses; a 2 hour Domestic Abuse Awareness Workshop and a 90min 'Actions Speak Louder' Experiential Allyship (Race) training session, as well as the return of LJMU's 3 hour Transgender Awareness Workshop (back by popular demand).

3. LJMU Chancellor welcomes scholars, Honorary Fellows and alumni to third Middle Temple celebration

   Over 110 LJMU Scholars, Honorary fellows and alumni came together at a special event in London’s historic Middle Temple last night, hosted by LJMU Chancellor and Honorary Fellow, Sir Brian Leveson.

   LJMU has awarded 21 VC PhD Studentship awards to exceptional students at the university.

6. ITV bosses work with LJMU students

   Top bosses at ITV were back in the Liverpool Screen School recently running two days of workshops with undergraduate and postgraduate students as part of the ITV Northern Lights Partnership.

7. Consultation LJMU and the Atlantic Slave Economy

   In February 2019, LJMU joined the Universities Studying Slavery Consortium (USS), based at the University of Virginia.

8. Your LJMU, Your Voice: staff survey findings

   The results of the Your LJMU, Your Voice staff survey reveal that employees consider LJMU to be a good place to work but there are clear areas for improvement. More than 1,400 staff – over 53% of our workforce – took part in the survey in May to help the university learn more about the experience of working here.
