1. Welcome to our new students

   First things first, before you arrive and start your studies there’s a few essential things you must do to officially become an LJMU student, starting with your online registration.

2. Updated Assessment and Feedback Policy

   The policy has been updated with two new areas of activity on internal moderation and the use of generative AI (GenAI) in assessment.

3. New student registration and ID card photo upload

   Don't forget to complete your online student registration and add a photo for your student ID card.

4. Latest quality management and academic partnerships operational guidance

   Colleagues are encouraged to review the guidance to inform their engagement with these key quality management mechanisms this academic year.

5. Enhancing the student experience through improved assessment and feedback guidance

   A project group has updated our Assessment and Feedback Policy as well as launched a new mini site of guidance for staff to utilise.

6. New student ID card delivery and collections

   Info about your student ID card for new students starting in early 2024.

7. New student registration and student ID cards September 2024

   Don't forget to complete your online registration and find out how you’ll get your student ID card.

8. Academic Registry Policy Update

   The Academic Board has recently approved an update to the Personal Circumstances Policy, as well as detailed supporting guidance for LJMU students and the Personal Circumstances Panel.

9. Reminder: register to vote by 18 June

   Register to vote by 18 June.

10. Register to vote in the General Election

    Find out all you need to know to register to vote in the General Election on 12 December.
