7. Restrictions on using USBs

   From Monday 4 September, students will no longer be able to use USB storage devices on LJMU computers, laptops and other IT equipment.

8. Whitechapel Christmas Appeal shows caring side of LJMU

   Thanks to the generosity of staff and students for the 2017 Whitechapel/LJMU Christmas Appeal, the University collected nearly 100 boxes of donations for homeless people and families in Liverpool.

10. Policing students become 'nighttime guardians' for safer streets in Merseyside

    The development of the ‘guardian project’ will see LJMU student volunteers be trained alongside street pastors to provide support, to those who need it, in Liverpool’s night-time economy, such as helping people get home or providing emotional support.
