1. New website course search function

   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

2. £5,000 raised for charity through NSS

   Our charity fundraising total stands at £5,000 after the first month of the National Student Survey (NSS).

3. Nearly £3k raised in first week of NSS

   A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us to raise a fantastic £2,950 for charity by completing the National Student Survey (NSS) in the first week.

4. The Doctoral Academy's Thesis Boot Camp - 88,798 Words!

   16 PGRs attended 2 1/2 day intensive writing retreat at Gladstone's Library, Hawarden

5. LJMU Wellbeing Week 11th – 15th March.

   We have a full week of activities which draw attention to the importance of wellbeing and provides an opportunity for staff and students to try out new approaches to staying healthy and happy.

6. Luminary Lecture Series

   The ‘Luminary Lecture Series’ at Liverpool School of Art & Design presents the work of leading practitioners in art and design.

7. Empower Programme for students on the Autism spectrum

   The NHS Merseyside Health Sector Career and Engagement Hub is running the Empower programme - a pre-employment transition workshop for second and final year LJMU students on the Autism spectrum.

8. Connections over Croissants

   Research and Innovation Services (RIS) will be holding an informal networking breakfast event, Coffee and Croissant, at Byrom Street, LIVE Lab in the Peter Jost Building on Thursday 4th April from 8.15am – 9.30am.

9. Student finance reminder

   If you are an undergraduate student and are continuing on your course in September 2019, don’t forget to reapply for your student finance as soon as possible.

10. Health advice - mumps

    We are aware of a couple of LJMU students being diagnosed with mumps in the last few days.
