University praised nationally for 'exceptional collaboration' to support students
As part of the University's commitment to supporting equality and diversity in the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework (REF 2021), we have put in place safe and supportive structures for eligible academic staff to declare information about any equality-related circumstances that may have affected their ability to research productively during the assessment period (1 January 2014 - 31 December 2020), and particularly their ability to produce research outputs at the same rate as staff not affected by circumstances.
North West Cross Institutional Action Learning in partnership with the University of Liverpool and Chester University. A development opportunity for 13 LJMU women working in academic and professional services roles to develop leadership capability and overcome career related challenges
Applications are now being taken for a leadership development initiative for women.
LJMUs Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team, are proud to be working in partnership with Zia Chaudhry (Director of LJMU Foundation for Citizenship), Zane Abdo (LJMU Muslim Adviser/Chaplin), Rabbi Natan Fagleman (LJMU Jewish Chaplain), Hannah Padfield (LJMU Anglican Chaplain), Father Neil Ritchie (LJMU Catholic Chapain) and other external consultants in order to offer LJMU Staff (& Students*), the opportunity to participate in a bespoke, half day Religion & Belief workshop.
