1. Giveaways, discounts and cost of living support

   LJMU and JMSU have a range of support available if you are struggling with covering basic expenses such as food, housing and bills. Plus there's an array of discounts and giveaways across campus.

2. Exam timetable now live

   Exam timetables are now live for the semester two assessment period 2023.

3. Themes emerge from inaugural Liverpool Health Commission investigation

   Liverpool Health Commission, supported by LJMU, is currently midway through its inaugural investigation and is able to report a number of emerging themes.

4. Changes in Core Café opening times: Tuesday 31 October

   Due to the passing of one of LJMU’s much loved catering team members, there will be several changes to Core Café opening hours across the day on Tuesday 31 October

5. Staff Car Parking Update

   Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.

6. Majority of April and May exams to be held online

   Most exams in April and May 2022 will be held online. There are a small number of examinations which will be held in-person due to specific requirements of the professional body.

7. Luminary Lecture Series

   The ‘Luminary Lecture Series’ at Liverpool School of Art & Design presents the work of leading practitioners in art and design.

8. Professorship and Readership Conferment 2022: Call for submissions

   Each year applications are invited for the conferment of Professorships and Readerships and the process for 2022 is now open.

9. Pensions Awareness Week online events 12-16 September

   As part of Pensions Awareness Week, Merseyside Pension Fund will be running a series of live online events which aim to increase pensions awareness among active members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
