1. Returning to campus

   Welcome back and happy new year the university has now fully reopened, and we look forward to seeing you on campus.  There are some continuing guidelines we require everyone to observe to make sure we can keep you all safe

   The festival of Onam explained: Rosetta Binu, LJMU Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Allied Health and our LJMU Equality team explain what the festival of Onam is, and how it is celebrated.

3. LJMU Library launches new reading corner

   LJMU Library has developed a new children's reading corner, providing access to a collection of children's books. This new space provides a fun and relaxed reading area for use by students, staff, local teachers and school children.

4. Salters' Festival of Chemistry brings together the next generation of scientists

   Over 50 school pupils came to LJMU to enjoy a day in the labs, as part of the Salters' Festival of Chemistry.

5. Staff encouraged to attend Freshers Fair 2023

   Your invite to the fair, info for exhibitors and free student transport to and from the event.

6. New hospitality ordering system

   LJMU’s Catering service will shortly introduce a brand new customer-friendly online ordering system for hospitality.

7. Bicentenary year gets underway

   As our 200th year gets underway, we are excited to celebrate with you, our students and our staff, and there will be opportunities throughout the year for you to get involved.

8. National award for LJMU libraries

   LJMU’s Library Service has received national recognition for the support it offers to students.

9. Provide peer-to-peer wellbeing support

   LJMU Connectors provide peer-to-peer mental wellbeing support to colleagues, at a local level, across the university.
