   It is with great sadness that the University announces the death of former student Caroline Aherne at the age of 52.

   LJMU has announced a second panel event to debate relocating Channel 4, from its current London base.

6. Teaching Staff - Call For Nominations to the Board of Governors

   Nominations are sought to fill one vacancy on the Board of Governors for a Staff Governor (Teaching) for the period 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2023.

7. Managing LJMU Apple IDs

   IT Services has developed a new approach to improve the way university-owned Apple devices are managed and supported.

8. Graduation dates announced for March 2023

   Our next graduation ceremonies are now scheduled to take place between Monday 27 – Wednesday 29 March 2023

9. Restrictions on using USBs

   From Monday 4 September, students will no longer be able to use USB storage devices on LJMU computers, laptops and other IT equipment.

10. Data protection related policy updates

    Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.
