1. MBA student named North West’s Outstanding Cancer Nurse 2022

   Shirley Pringle was presented with the award at the North West Cancer Research's Awards Ceremony, in Liverpool, earlier this month.

2. New templates for the nomination of external examiners

   Now incorporating a dedicated template to nominate external examiners from industry or practice.

3. Introducing the JMSU Student Officer team 2024/25

   Four new student officers are now in post for the 2024/2025 academic year to represent the 27,000 students at LJMU.

4. Students at the Heart Conference 2024: submissions now open

   Submissions are now open for the Students at the Heart Conference and the theme for 2024 will be ‘community.’

5. Staff Sharepoint migration

   IT Services has started the process of migrating all of our on-premise SharePoint and shared drives (JT2) to either Microsoft Teams or SharePoint Online.

8. Lecturer featured in NHS exhibition

   A lecturer from LJMU is featured in a fantastic exhibition celebrating NHS workers in Merseyside.

9. Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy update

   The Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy (RPEL) has been updated to incorporate requirements for RPEL assessment for Apprenticeship programmes, and to reflect changes to governance related to RPEL.
