2. Welcome to our new students

   First things first, before you arrive and start your studies there’s a few essential things you must do to officially become an LJMU student, starting with your online registration.

3. Professorship and Readership Conferment: Call for submissions

   Each year applications are invited for the conferment of Professorships and Readerships and the process for 2021 is now open

4. £4k raised so far through NSS

   Final year students have raised £4,000 for charity so far, by completing the National Student Survey.

5. Survey shows LJMU is a good place to work

   Staff at LJMU believe it is a good place to work, according to the results of this year’s Your LJMU, Your Voice survey.

6. Showcasing our new curriculum management system

   Academic staff and other colleagues are invited to attend demonstration sessions showcasing LJMUs new curriculum management system.

7. New service connecting LJMU’s student talent to Merseyside business gets underway

   As a major development towards LJMU’s goal of more readily matching student and graduate talent to the needs of Merseyside businesses, we have entered into an agreement with Unitemps to establish a specialist recruitment service for the region.

8. Tim Nichol meets PM of Vietnam as we expand our global reach

   Tim Nichol met with the Prime Minister of Vietnam at the weekend as LJMU sealed a partnership with one of the country's up-and-coming universities.

9. Professional Services Conference 2019

   Registration is open for the 2019 Professional Services Conference, being held on Thursday 27th June in the Redmonds building. This year’s theme is “Leadership Matters” with a focus on resilience, health and wellbeing.

10. Chief Constable annual lecture

    A packed theatre listened to Sir Jon Murphy QPM deliver his third state of the city lecture, which this year focused on the question, 'Is there a future for neighbourhood policing?' The event was organised by the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies.
