   Dr Suzannah Lipscomb delivers a National Identity Lecture exploring why Tudor history is still a key part of the modern British identity.

2. LJMU students help refugees at the Polish/Ukrainian border

   MA Wildlife Conservation students Vanessa Grundy, 27 and Alex Donnelly, 27 along with Vanessa's brother Mike Grundy are currently at the Poland-Ukraine border helping refugees get to safe accommodation in Krakow, and further across Europe, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

3. Don't Panic: Support available at Exam and Assessment time.

   LJMU and John Moores Students' Union (JMSU) are offering a range of support during April and May to help students stay positive and focused during the upcoming assessment period.

   A first year policing student has gone above and beyond during her first week at LJMU by helping a total stranger on a night out.

   LJMU is offering second and final year students (level 5 and 6) the opportunity to apply for a paid 'Discovery Internship' working with a local organisation in the Liverpool City Region on a real-life project that you can really get stuck into.
