5. Let’s Talk About Disability Workshop (Virtual) - Tips For Supporting Staff/Students With Disabilities & Long-Term Health Conditions Including Mental Health

   This is an opportunity for LJMU/JMSU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors (those directly responsible for staff/students) to participate in a half day (three hour) virtual, Lets Talk About Disability Workshop in order to gain tips for supporting staff/students with disabilities & long-term health conditions including mental health.

6. Donate to support homeless people this winter

   A local community organisation run by one of our academic staff is appealing for donations to support homeless people this winter.

7. LJMU launches Sustainable Development Goals hub

   LJMU is outlining its commitment to the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a microsite which highlights the research and knowledge exchange, student experience and place and partnership activities, that showcase the university’s ongoing journey towards a more sustainable, prosperous future for local communities and the whole planet.

8. ICC Head of Research invited to join AHRC Peer Review College 2020-23

   Following a competitive nomination process, LJMU's Kerry Wilson has been invited by the Arts and Humanities Research Council to join its academic Peer Review College.
